Services in more detail

The Club House - Tailored Dog daycare

A Holistic Approach to Canine Care!
The Barkley Club is passionate about providing more than just day care. We offer a comprehensive enrichment programme
designed around structured enrichment, learning, and calm socialisation. This ensures all dogs are mentally stimulated, physically active, and emotionally balanced throughout their day.

We operate from two carefully designed locations, allowing us to match each dog to the environment that best suits their personality and needs.

St Martin – Countryside Daycare

A secure rural setting designed for active, high-energy dogs who enjoy space, freedom, and outdoor exploration. Days include structured play, enrichment activities, and supervised social groups in a natural environment.

This location operates on a full-day subscription basis (minimum two days per week), supporting consistency, routine, and regular attendance.

To make attendance as convenient as possible, we offer a dedicated island-wide collection and drop-off service with the Barkley Club Bus, using professionally fitted, climate-controlled vans with secure travel crates.

Town Daycare – Barkley Club Social

A calm, indoor-focused environment designed for smaller dogs (up to 15kg) or those who prefer to socialise and relax in the comfort of an indoor setting. Days include indoor enrichment, supervised socialisation, and two daily walks.

This location offers flexible bookings, from as little as two hours through to full-day care, depending on your needs.

Puppy Daycare

At The Barkley Club, we understand the importance of the early months in a puppy’s life for their development and wellbeing. That’s why our Puppy Day care is designed to provide a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for your little one to grow and flourish. Puppies enjoy carefully managed play, basic training, enrichment activities, and structured rest periods to support healthy development.

Puppy daycare is designed for puppies between 12 weeks and 8 months, offering both half-day and full-day sessions with a minimum stay of four hours to allow puppies time to settle, socialise, and benefit fully from the experience.

The Barkley Lodge - Pet sitting & boarding

Going away?
Going away? Our sitting and boarding services provide calm, personalised care for dogs while you are away, with a strong focus on routine, comfort, and emotional wellbeing. Whether staying in their own home or with our trusted team, every dog receives attentive care designed around their individual needs.

You’ll have the opportunity to meet your trusted sitter beforehand, allowing you to head away feeling completely confident and reassured. During their stay you will receive daily updates and your dog(s) can also join the fun at either of our daycare settings at no extra cost (depending on availability), offering additional social play, enrichment, or relaxed downtime depending on their personality and preferences.

House sitting

House sitting is an in-home pet care service where one of our trusted and trained Barkley Club caregivers stays at your home while you’re away. This service is ideal for pets who thrive in their familiar environment and routine.

Boarding

Dog boarding is a service where your dog stays with us at a Barkley Club caregiver’s home. Our boarding is like a home-away-from-home experience filled with love, attention, and plenty of playtime.

The Barkley Academy - expert dog training

Building better behaviour, together!
Our training programmes are designed to build real-world skills, confidence, and clear communication between dogs and their owners. From personalised 1:2:1 sessions to structured courses and practical bootcamps, every programme focuses on creating lasting progress that fits into everyday life.

Training takes place across a variety of real-world environments and controlled settings, helping dogs build confidence, focus, engagement, and reliable behaviours beyond the classroom.

Current & Past Courses

Puppy Classes – 5-week foundation course focusing on socialisation, confidence building, and essential early-life training.
Zero to Hero – 5-week adolescent course covering engagement, recall, loose lead walking, and real-world behaviour skills.
Side by Side – 3-week loose lead walking course designed to improve connection, focus, and calm walking.
Recall Bootcamp – One-off beach session focused on building strong, reliable recall through practical exercises and games.

The course location will depend on the type of course and will be held in various locations across the island. We keep group sizes small to ensure you receive the best experience and personalised support throughout the course, with two qualified and experienced instructors present in every class.
