About Us

Our story began in 2020, originally under the name K9 to 5. It was bought to life by Letitia, who switched gears from accounting to pursue her true passion for dogs. She found the perfect spot with a lovely garden to start our journey. Letitia isn't new to the dog world; she's spent her life caring for dogs, from family pets to those she's house sat for. Through numerous canine courses and qualifications, she's blossomed into a dog trainer, now leading a variety of fun and engaging classes, including our favourite, the Puppy Power Programme.

Our adventure kicked off with just two dogs in our garden, recognising a real need for dedicated dog care in Jersey that just wasn't being met. As more people sought us out, we found our forever home at The Barkley Club house, nestled in the beautiful countryside of St Martin.

Fast forward through years of dedication and hard work, our family has grown to include 5 wonderful team members and a larger team of house sitters and boarders, we've been lucky to meet hundreds of amazing dogs along the way. And yes, we've recently refreshed our look and name to better capture the spirit of The Barkley Club.

Our team is more like a family, bonded by our love for dogs and our commitment to their care. Every one of us is trained in Canine First Aid and Dog Body Language, ensuring your furry friends are always in safe, loving hands.

But The Barkley Club is so much more than just daycare; think of us as a school for dogs. We've crafted an enriching daily programme to keep your dogs happy, engaged, and learning. We're here to make sure your dogs get the very best care, because to us, they're not just pets—they're family.
